Our Christmas in England
Christmas is for kids and is one of the most special times of the year. On this page, some of our students share their Christmas with you.
CHRISTMAS EVE: Christmas Eve is a exciting time when we organise our presents. Families go to church and sing carols. Just before we go to bed, we leave on the doorstep a mince pie and a carrot. We do this so santa and Rudolph can eat them .

On CHRISTMAS Day I always go to my family. This year I’m going to my Uncles & Aunties. We take lots of presents for everyone, my whole family will be there.

What I do on Christmas Day
First of all I wake up really early in the morning and go and wake up my nan, grandad, mum, dad and sister.
Then we all get dressed and rush downstairs to open presents.
When we have opened our presents, my mum goes and starts to make our christmas dinner. Then I go and play with my presents and have a great time.
After about an hour, our christmas dinner is ready and we all go and eat.
When we have finished we usually watch a film at about 11:00.
After that we do something with our presents until about 5:00 pm
and stay up really late like about 10:00 and my nan and grandad go home.

Christmas
On Christmas Day Father Christmas comes to visit us with presents (that’s only if you are good).
We leave Father Christmas a mince pie for him and a couple of carrots for his reindeers. You don’t have to give him a mince pie or a carrot because you can give him anything. If you think he gets very thirsty, maybe leave him a glass of milk and a couple of big bowls of water for his reindeers.

Christmas in my House
On Christmas Eve (24 December) my mum sets out the presents under the tree. I normally go to bed about 8 o’clock, only because it makes the morning come sooner.
On Christmas Day I wake up around about 7 O’clock. I have to wake my mum before I go downstairs. After I have opened my presents, my Dad comes round. When he leaves I go to my Nanny & Grandpas to see my cousins, Madeline& Charlotte. I open more presents there. Normally I have Christmas dinner there too. Nan cooks roast turkey, veg (YUK!) and gravy.

Christmas Day
On Christmas Day I open my presents. I get really excited. In the morning I run down the stairs. I open the door and there I see my very own presents! Lewis aged 8
