What would you say the symbol of your country is? Each country in Britain has symbols of its own but also there are symbols that represent Britain and the UK too. It is not always easy to identify the difference between what should be a English symbol and what is classed as a British symbol.
Does Big Ben and the Tower of London represent England, Britain or the UK? Both are ‘British’ landmarks and are often shown in American films to indicate that the movie is set in England (or do I mean Britain?). Big Ben is part of the building of the UK government and so can be said to be a symbol Britain and the UK. The Tower of London, on the other hand, is in England and therefore an English symbol rather than a British one.
Can you think of symbol of England, Scotland, Wales or Britain?

Very interesting and informative website. Wales symbols – leek (not leak!) + daffodil
I´ve seen the Tudor Rose as the symbol of England ..
How about Burns for Scotland #5?
Tartan and kilt are rather repetitive
For Scotland the Scottish Flag is everywhere also the Lock Ness monster!
Kilts and Tartan are much the same, so I would take one of them out.
Bin Ben is good for England but not really Britain
