“I am an American married to an Englishman and we live in the US. We are starting a family and I would like some tips as to how to keep our kids rooted in their English heritage. Could you offer some tips on some traditions that are important to observe and pass down?
Thanks Very Much!

I am an American who is in love with the English culture. I have read English novels by Catherine Cookson for as long as I can remember. I drink tea daily (no teabags please!) I went to London 20 years ago and I have bee in love ever since. I think London is a lot like New York City. I love Harry Potter and I applaud JK Rowling for insisting on an all British cast. And yes Americans can be extremely rude. We offend ourselves!
