Since July 2007 we have been busily working to improve the British Culture section of our school website. One of the main improvements is a new and quick shortcut to the website, as requested by many of our visitors.
The Woodlands British culture and life website can now be accessed via projectbritain.com.
We have also moved our blog onto a new domain

I am not an Englishman. The fact that a real Roman soldier faced death to attempt to help anyone is notable. Mercy was not a high priority of Roman virtues. That it was Christians to me doesn’t matter. It may have been about any group of peaceful people practicing faith and love. The English may possibly want to acknowledge their own legendary courage by celebrating St George’s Day individually. St. George would have been proud of the people he once protected…..
Two things occur to me that even St. George would be proud of: the British fighting Hitler alone in WWII and the peaceful way in which they dissolved their empire and implemented a voluntary commonwealth. I believe the Roman soldier would be satisfied by his prescience of England. Without courage, no other virtue is stable, so maybe we all need to remember St. George and the people he defended every once in a while.
